TRACK
PROCEDURES
Passing is
always done VERY CAREFULLY. We ABSOLUTELY cannot
have two cars touching each other.
Slower cars
to the inside, faster cars to the outside.
Make sure
the car ahead is aware of your approaching car.
If you're
the car in front, watch your mirrors.
Be aware of
what's happening to you.
Passing is
allowed from turn 1 to turn 2 and from turn 8 to turn 1.
ABSOLUTELY NO PASSING in turns 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
ATTENTION
NO
GAS AT THE TRACK. Arrive with a full tank (there is a gas
station next door to the
Motel 6 (see Accomodations)
MONITOR your car's water temperature and brake feel.
HEAT AND DEHYDRATION: Drink plenty of fluids.
Dehydration causes lack of
concentration. Stay refreshed. If
you feel yourself getting tired, losing concentration,
return to the pits. Relax and drink
some water.
THINGS TO BRING: Helmet, hat, sunglasses, sun block,
drinking water, chair.
TRACK
RULES
NO
consumption of alcoholic beverages.
NO one on the track during practice session without a helmet.
NO driving against traffic.
NO speeding in the pits. 15 MPH speed limit.
NO dumping of fuel or oil. Please pick up your trash.
ACCOMODATIONS
We
will be driving out to El Centro Saturday night. XP Engineering
recommends staying at the Barbara Worth Golf
Resort, or the El Centro Motel
